Jasmin Brown

Jasmin “Watch Jazzy” Brown rapidly became an online sensation garnering 1.4 million followers on Instagram. Known for her “in-car” rants and original characters such as “Toya Turnup” who also has a strong presence on Instagram with 708k followers.

Jasmin is currently writing, executive producing and starring in her own BET+ series titled CAUGHT UP created by Tyler Perry. She can be seen as DEJA in Tyler Perry’s latest hit show ZATIMA and recurs on SISTAS where Jasmin first got discovered by the mogul himself.  She can also be seen streaming in the ALL BLK series DOUBLE CROSS.

On the feature front, she plays SHAWNA on the SpringHill & New Line Cinema’s remake of HOUSE PARTY, seen on VH1’s Hip Hop Family Christmas Wedding and has acted opposite Yvette Nicole Brown in the independent feature film, ALWAYS A BRIDESMAID. Jasmin has also hosted the official backstage interviews at the 2023 BET Awards, the red carpet for the 2021 BET Awards Pre-Show and Kevin Hart’s “Laugh Out Loud” comedy clip show on BounceTV.

Helen Hong

A fan favorite on the hit NPR podcast Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me, Helen Hong also hosts the celebrity trivia game show podcast Go Fact Yourself. Helen’s acting credits include roles on Never Have I Ever, Silicon Valley, the Jennifer Garner Christmas movie Family Switch, and 5 seasons of The Thundermans on Nickelodeon.

A long-time touring standup comedian, Helen’s comedy special Well Hong was co-produced by Comedy Dynamics and Tribeca Film Festival, and is streaming now on Amazon Prime & Apple TV+. Audiences love Helen’s lightning quick crowd work which can be seen on her Instagram and TikTok @funnyhelenhong.

A breast-cancer survivor, Helen makes light of her cancer experience (and her “fresh new boobies”) onstage. She also brings light to Asian-American issues with her family’s YouTube channel “Old Korean Dad Stories.”

Guy Torry

In the tradition of comedians who have made the transition from the stage to the screen, such as Richard Pryor and Bill Cosby, multi-talented Guy Torry has made the leap to comedic actor with great success. Guy has been seen on BET’s “Comic View,” Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend,” “Showtime at the Apollo” and “Russell Simmons: Def Comedy Jam” where he made his stand up debut to a national audience. Guy also hosted the enormously successful 52 city comedy tour The Kings of Comedy, which grossed over $37M. He created a unique concept called Phat Comedy Tuesdays which was a weekly showcase for up and coming comedians. This evolved into a weekly spotlight at the Comedy Store on the Sunset Strip entitled The Guy Torry Show where Guy hosts and produces a comedy showcase featuring an improv comedy troupe. This event was regularly attended by the comedy A-List including Eddie Murphy, Chris Tucker and Chris Rock.

Godfrey

A versatile actor, writer, host, and standup comic, Godfrey has made a name for himself for the range and depth in his work. With an ongoing successful career in standup comedy, he tours internationally. His hilarious one-hour stand-up special, REGULAR BLACK, is currently streaming on Showtime, along with his half hour Netflix Special under Tiffany Haddish’s THEY READY series.

On the acting front, Godfrey can be seen recurring in the half hour HBO sitcom, SOUTH SIDE, and recurring in the Amazon series HARLEM. He can also be seen opposite Gabrielle Union in the Netflix feature film THE PERFECT FIND.  Previously, he has played the hilarious recurring role of ‘Plaid Jeff’ in Adult Swim’s NEON JOE, WEREWOLF HUNTER. He has also held great recurring roles in LOUIE for FX, BENDERS for IFC and played the lead in the FX pilot, BRONX WARRANTS. His Feature credits include ZOOLANDER, SOUL PLANE, and the Indie, THREE DAYS IN VEGAS, in which he performed alongside Nicolas Cage.

His podcast “In Godfrey We Trust” has developed a massive following and features sharp, insightful, and entertaining conversations with fellow comics about culture and current events. Further in the unscripted space, Godfrey co-hosted FOX’s highly-received gameshow, BULLSEYE, opposite Kellen Lutz.

His one man show called “The Godfrey Complex” was a major hit at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal, from which GQ Magazine said that Godfrey “is set to be one of the biggest performers in the US in 12 months,” following his run at the festival. Godfrey’s one-hour special for Comedy Central, “Godfrey: Black By Accident” is a great example of his witty, intellectual capabilities as a standup.

Giulia Rozzi

Giulia Rozzi is a comedian, actress and writer. Paste Magazine describes her as “the smart friend everyone needs in their lives. An intelligent, perceptive mind that’s almost painfully aware of the foibles bound up in modern day living,” Her very personal, blunt, and animated humor has earned her the honor of being a TEDx speaker, a Moth GrandSLAM champion and album True Love was named one of SiriusXM’s top ten comedy albums. She’s performed on Conan, Tru TV’s Laff Mob, Comedy Central’s This Is Not Happening and Starz and has appeared on Chelsea Lately, Lights Out With David Spade,The Jim Gaffigan Show, Vh1, Lifetime, Bravo and TBS. Her critically acclaimed solo show Bad Bride ran at the Upright Citizens Brigade in NYC for 8 months and toured the US and UK. She also currently hosts the podcast Should I Get Bangs? and previously co-hosted Hopefully We Don’t Break Up. As a writer, Giulia has worked on the MTV series Girl Code and Silent Library, Bravo’s Odd Mom Out and TV Land’s Younger and has contributed to Esquire, Refinery29 and BUST Magazine. Francisco Ramos

Francisco Ramos stars in the upcoming feature The Unexpecteds, executive produced by Kevin Smith, premiering October 14. He’s been featured on Netflix’s Gentefied and Hulu’s This Fool, and directed, co-wrote, and starred in his debut comedy short Zoo Animals, now streaming on HBO Max.

Francisco has filmed two stand-up specials—Veenezuela’Merican, produced by Brad Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond), and HBO’s Entre Nos. A top 10 finalist on Last Comic Standing, he continues to tour nationwide, bringing his unique voice to comedy clubs and theaters across North America.

His TV and film credits include Showtime’s Shameless, Steve Carell’s Angie Tribeca, Netflix’s Lady Dynamite, Comedy Central’s @midnight, multiple appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and voicing Marmoset in the animated hit Rio and Cartoon Network’s Victor and Valentino.

A proud alum of Lorne Michaels’ Mas Mejor, where he wrote, directed, and performed sketches, Francisco’s debut comedy album Vayalo hit the Billboard Comedy Top 5 and streams exclusively on SiriusXM. He’s performed in the CBS Diversity Showcase, won first place at the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival, and was the subject of American Latino’s Latino Out Loud documentary about his rise in comedy.

DC Young Fly

Born and raised in Atlanta, DC Young Fly launched his career by garnering a massive following as a highly favored content creator. He has optimally developed his brand to the true multi-hyphenate that he is today as a comedian, actor, host, producer, VO actor and musician, and was named one of Variety’s coveted 10 Comics to Watch in 2019.

Recently starring in the New Line/SpringHill feature film HOUSE PARTY, DC can also be seen in a supporting role in the Amazon film CANDY CANE LANE opposite Eddie Murphy and Tracee Ellis Ross. This year he also made his producing debut as a co-producer in Mario Van Peebles’ latest independent film, Outlaw Posse which he also acted in. He is 1/3 of the hit podcast 85 South which just released their first Netflix comedy special, 85 SOUTH: GHETTO LEGENDS, reigning the #1 spot for weeks. He continues to be the most sought after veteran cast member on Nick Cannon’s WILD’N OUT, recently wrapping his 15th season. He has recurred on 50 Cent’s BMF and can also be seen playing the historic musician/songwriter ‘Sly Stone’ displaying his musical talent on season two of BET’s AMERICAN SOUL. In the feature film space, he played the lead in Universal’s comedy feature for MTV, HOW HIGH 2.

Other past acting credits include Will Packer’s feature film ALMOST CHRISTMAS, FOX’s comedy series REL, and Kenya Barris’ GROWNISH on Freeform. David Alan Grier

Countless theater, television, film, and comedic endeavors have pushed David Alan Grier’s career to remarkable heights. His ability to excel across all mediums and contexts is a testament to his inherent sense of comedic timing and creative drive.

On the film front, Grier has appeared in prominent feature films including THE BIG SICK, produced by Judd Apatow; ARIZONA, alongside Kaitlin Olson, Danny McBride, Justin Theroux, and Seth Rogen; and Tyler Perry’s PEEPLES, alongside Kerry Washington and Craig Robinson. He can recently be seen in A24’s ‘NATIVE SON.’ and the dramatic indie film, SPRINTER, produced by Will Smith. David’s next film appearances will be in great supporting roles in Paramount’s upcoming feature, CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG, and in Netflix’s COFFEE AND KAREEM.

His television work is highlighted by his turn as a principal cast member on the Emmy Award-winning show, IN LIVING COLOR (1990-1994), where he created and portrayed some of the show’s most memorable characters. He also starred in DAG (2000-2001) and LIFE WITH BONNIE (2003), which earned him the Image Award and Golden Satellite Award nominations. In 2008, David created, wrote, and starred in Comedy Central’s CHOCOLATE NEWS. He also starred previously as ‘Principal Carl Gaines’ in CBS’ BAD TEACHER. In 2015, David played ‘The Cowardly Lion’ in NBC’s popular live television special, THE WIZ LIVE! Grier also starred as a Series Regular on NBC’s THE CARMICHAEL SHOW and recurred in Season 2 of the Netflix adventure/drama, A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS. He played the lead in COOL KIDS, Danny McBride’s multicam comedy for FOX, and can next be seen recurring in QUEEN SUGAR for OWN and as a guest cameo on Issa Rae’s BLACK LADY SKETCH SHOW for HBO.

The three-time Tony and Grammy Award-nominee was trained in Shakespeare at Yale University, where he earned an MFA from the Yale School of Drama. Grier has received many accolades and awards throughout his career, not the least of which was his inclusion on Comedy Central’s list of “The 100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time”. Grier also cowrote the Jury Prize winning and LA Film Festival nominated Feature, THE POKER HOUSE, starring Jennifer Lawrence.

Craig Shoemaker

What comedian do you know that has 2 Emmy’s, appeared on Broadway and was voted “Best Male Standup” at the American Comedy Awards? That’s right, it’s The LoveMaster Craig Shoemaker! Best known for his engaging, relatable standup and iconic baritone-voiced character, The LoveMaster, Craig has appeared on hit television shows such as “Parks & Recreation” and “The Bold & The Beautiful.” Craig’s latest 90-minute standup special, “Daditude,” aired prime time for three months on SHOWTIME Network.
